Overview
The GenAI Talks dashboard measures Generative AI discussion in S&P 500 earnings call transcripts from 2014 Q1 to present (updated quarterly). We compute the share of transcript content classified as Generative AI (Exposure) and classify that content into Risk, Adoption, and Opportunity (Sentiment).
Exposure: Percentage of transcript paragraphs devoted to Generative AI topics.
Sentiment: Classification of GenAI content as Risk, Adoption, or Opportunity.
Method: Zero-shot topic detection using BART-large-MNLI; sentiment classification of detected GenAI segments with GPT-4o across 22,590+ transcripts. Exposure = GenAI paragraphs / total transcript paragraphs (length-normalised).
